Product Description
PE100 HDPE Pipe for Mining Slurry & Industrial Fluid Conveying DN180
-
Product Overview
Manufactured by extrusion molding of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), this PE100 water supply pipe has gradually replaced traditional reinforced concrete pipes and metal pipes, becoming the preferred solution for modern water supply systems. Product Features - Reliable Connection: All pipe joints are connected via hot-melt welding, with joint strength exceeding the pipe body itself, ensuring zero leakage in the entire pipeline system.
- Excellent Low-Temperature Impact Resistance: With an extremely low brittleness temperature, the pipe can be safely used in a wide temperature range of 0ºC to -40ºC, suitable for cold climate regions.
- Outstanding Mechanical Properties: Features low notch sensitivity, high shear strength, excellent scratch resistance, and superior resistance to slow crack growth (SCG) and cyclic stress cracking.
- Superior Chemical Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to corrosion from a wide range of chemicals, no rotting, rusting, or electrochemical corrosion. It also prevents bacterial and fungal growth, ensuring water quality safety.
- Aging Resistance & Long Service Life: The black pipe body with carbon black can be used outdoors in direct sunlight, effectively resisting UV radiation damage, with a service life of over 50 years under normal conditions.
- High Abrasion Resistance: Comparative tests show that the abrasion resistance of PE pipes is 4 times that of steel pipes, significantly extending service life and improving cost-effectiveness.
- Application Fields
- Urban Water Supply: With comprehensive advantages of safety, hygiene, and easy construction, it has become the ideal pipe material for municipal water supply networks.
- Food & Chemical Industry: Its unique chemical corrosion resistance makes it suitable for conveying or discharging various acid, alkali, and salt solutions, with long service life and low maintenance costs.
- Mine & Slurry Conveying: With 4 times the abrasion resistance of steel pipes, it is widely used for conveying ore slurry, power plant fly ash, river dredging mud, etc.
- Pipeline Replacement: Perfect for renovating old cement, cast iron, and steel pipes in urban areas. It can be directly inserted into old pipes for replacement without large-scale excavation, featuring low cost and short construction time, especially suitable for old city road renovation.
- Landscaping Pipe Network: PE pipes are cost-effective for the large water supply needs of landscaping projects, making them highly recommended for green space irrigation systems.
- Other Applications: Also widely used in other fields, including power and communication cable protection sleeves, farmland irrigation, siphon drainage, landfill leachate, geothermal air conditioning, deep-sea aquaculture, buried fire protection pipelines, etc.
- Excellent Flexibility: Easy to bend, allowing pipeline routing to be adjusted to bypass obstacles on-site, reducing pipe usage and installation costs.
- Low Flow Resistance: The ultra-smooth inner surface has a roughness coefficient of only 0.009, 1/200th that of steel pipes. This enhances conveying capacity while reducing pressure loss and energy consumption for water transportation.
- Lightweight & Easy Installation: Far lighter than concrete, galvanized, and steel pipes, it requires less labor and equipment for handling and installation, drastically cutting down construction costs.
- Versatile Construction Methods: Supports both traditional open-cut construction and advanced trenchless technologies such as pipe jacking, directional drilling, and pipe bursting, ideal for complex urban projects.
